An Advanced Question Type (AQT) is a human or computer marked question OR a simulation that is rich in functionality and interactivity. It can be used in formative or summative assessments and can cover a wide range of assessment levels (GCSE, A-Level, Vocational etc) and subjects (English, Maths, Science, Accounting etc).

An Advanced Question Type is designed to be a ‘bolt on’ to the standard question types within ContentProducerTM and because of this, BTL have the flexibility to design, develop, test and deliver an Advanced Question Type outside of the main Surpass® release cycle.

BTL have a dedicated Advanced Question Type team with specific skills in the creation of Advanced Question Types, this dedicated team are committed to improving the candidate experience with the delivery of Advanced Question Types.
